Mediterranean Terra Cotta Cookware

Terra Cotta is one of the oldest types of cookware dating back to ancient times. Many kitchens in Spain and Portugal are never without one. Italian and French Provence cooking also uses these "pots of the earth." All of the items partial or full glaze. Ollas are used to make soups and stews. Roasters are used to roast or to make baked dishes like cazuelas. We will also have small cazuelas which are often used for serving Tapas. Country soup bowl can be used for a variety of gazpachos.

Great for items cooked at low heat. Safe for use over gas and electric burners, convention and microwave oven use. Can be cleaned in a dishwasher however it is recommended to hand wash. Before first time usage must soak in water. All products will be labeled with easy to follow proper care and use instructions.
